Hi, I'm Stephanie — the founder of Mahjong O'Clock.

Mahjong O'Clock started with a simple thought: American Mahjong is one of the most joyful ways to bring friends together, so why did the equipment feel so plain? Game night deserves the same care we put into setting a table, decorating for the season, or picking out a gift for a friend.

So we set out to make Mahjong that's fun enough for game night, beautiful enough for the home, and distinctive enough to make you smile every time you unroll it.

What we make

Every Mahjong O'Clock mat is built around original artwork — hand-painted-style patterns inspired by Palm Beach, coastal living, preppy American style, and chinoiserie-inspired decorative arts. Think tigers in a blue-and-white garden, oyster shells and hydrangeas, pink leopards among palm leaves, and playful seasonal designs for Halloween and Christmas.

Our mats are made to be played on: 3mm thick neoprene, a water-resistant woven top that wipes clean, a non-slip rubber back, and a stitched edge that blends into the print. They ship rolled, never folded, from our warehouse in California.
